So where did the name “Morii Bird” come from exactly? I spent a very long time trying to find a name that represented who I was as a creative individual. It needed to be unique, catchy, and something that was beyond just a name - it needed to mean something to me.

I became familiar with The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows, which defines expressions of emotions that have never been defined before. I related to many of them, but the one that grabbed my attention was “Morii”, which is ‘The Desire to Capture a Fleeting Experience.’ I thought that was beautiful. I then chose "Bird" because they - like fleeting experiences - appear briefly and then are gone, vanishing just as quickly as they come.


Whether it's conceptualizing a detailed storyboard, photographing a captivating subject, creating a compelling video, or editing a stunning photo, I’m always searching for new and innovative ways to express my creativity—before that moment passes me by.
